Glendale, AZ – Pedestrian Struck & Seriously Injured at 59th Ave & Medlock Dr
Glendale, AZ (December 16, 2019) – A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a driver hit him in Glendale.
Per reports from the Glendale Police Department, it happened around 8:00 p.m. on Monday at 59th Avenue and Medlock Drive, just north of Camelback Road. The driver stayed on the scene, police said, and Glendale EMTs arrived shortly after the accident occurred to transport the victim to a local area hospital.
Aerial news video showed that there isn’t a crosswalk in the area. It’s unclear if impairment is a factor in the collision, though authorities are still investigating.
