Glendale, AZ (January 23, 2020) – Police are investigating a pedestrian accident that left one person seriously hurt in Glendale. 

According to Detective Nick Stepp, the victim was crossing the street near 67th Avenue and Northern Avenue around 11:00 p.m. While they were crossing, they were struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver of that car stayed on the scene, and the pedestrian was taken to a local hospital via ambulance with life-threatening injuries. 

Stepp said impairment was not a factor in the crash but it is not clear whether speed was. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
