Glendale, AZ – Toddler in Critical Condition After Drowning Near Camelback Rd


Glendale, AZ (October 28, 2019) – A toddler is in critical condition after being pulled from a Glendale pool on Sunday afternoon.

Authorities said that the 1-year-old girl was found in a residential pool near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road by her mother, who initiated CPR before first responders arrived at the scene. Glendale Fire Department spokeswoman Ashley Losch said that when fire crews arrived, they were able to get the girl to breathe on her own. The girl was transported via ambulance to a local hospital, where she remains in serious condition.

No other information was immediately available, though authorities are still investigating.
