Goodyear, AZ (March 6, 2020) – Two construction workers in Goodyear were injured after a 24-foot wall fell on them on Friday.

According to Goodyear fire officials, the wood-framed wall broke away from the crane that was lifting it just after 10:00 a.m. Authorities say that the incident occurred near Interstate 10 and Estrella Parkway at a site where a building was under construction. According to Goodyear fire officials, one of the workers was a trauma patient and the other sustained a minor injury, though both were transported to a trauma hospital.

The workplace accident remains under investigation at this time.
