Goodyear, AZ (September 12, 2019) – This morning around 6:30 a.m., police responded to the scene of a multi-bicycle accident with injuries on Cotton Lane.

Fire officials who responded to the scene of the accident said that four bicyclists were suddenly struck by a motor vehicle, which seriously injured three of them. They were transported to the hospital via ambulance for treatment of their injuries.

Police are not sure of the circumstances leading up to the accident. Paramedics responded immediately and the roadway was closed down in the area of Cotton Lane and MC-85 for some time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing at this time.
