Goodyear, AZ – Officers Investigating Injury Wreck on I-10 at Estrella Pkwy
Goodyear, AZ (July 12, 2020) – A serious injury accident blocked several lanes of Interstate 10 at Estrella Parkway on Sunday afternoon and caused at least one injury.
Authorities at the scene said that the crash occurred when multiple vehicles collided in the center lanes of I-10 westbound, also known as the Papago Freeway, at Estrella Parkway around 6:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to assist injured victims but have not determined the cause of the accident or released the drivers’ information at this time. The crash caused major backups in the area, and traffic had to be diverted as a result.
EMTs were also at the scene to treat victims, though the victims’ current condition remains unknown.
The accident is still under investigation.
