Goodyear, AZ (November 5, 2019) – Around 9 a.m. this morning, police responded to a pedestrian accident involving a golf cart driver at a local Goodyear intersection.

The accident took place near the intersection of McDowell Road and Pebble Creek Parkway. A woman in her 70s had been walking across the street in a crosswalk when she was struck by the golf cart.

The driver of the golf cart was identified as a woman who was not injured. She remained at the scene of the accident.

The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital but the extent of her injuries is not known.

It is not known if any charges will be filed at this time. The investigation continues.
