Kingman, AZ (June 25, 2019) – On Saturday, June 22nd, around 2:49 p.m., police responded to the scene of a fatal accident that took place on Interstate 40 in Kingman.

The accident, according to authorities, took place around the area of mile marker 70 in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The accident took place close to the Phoenix area and led to one fatality, though police have not yet identified the party involved.

The highway was closed down temporarily in that area so that a medical helicopter could land. We do not know the conditions of the other parties involved in the crash or what caused the parties to collide.

The Arizona Department of Transportation continues to investigate the accident at this time.
