Kingman, AZ – One Killed and Several Injured in Tour Van Accident on US-93
Kingman, AZ (June 27, 2019) – On Wednesday, one person was killed and several others were killed in a tour van accident involving a pickup truck in Kingman.
The accident, according to police, took place around 10:46 a.m. on Wednesday, along US-93. At the time, the tour van was carrying multiple tourists from China. The van allegedly contained nine tourists and pulled out in front of an oncoming Ford F-250 near the intersection with Pierce Ferry Road.
One of the passengers in the van passed away after being taken to a hospital in Las Vegas. The van driver and multiple other passengers were seriously injured in the accident. Medical helicopters were called to the scene to fly parties to the hospital.
The driver of the pickup truck was also injured and taken to the Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
