Lake Havasu City, AZ – Multi-Car Crash Causes Injuries on SR 95 SB
Lake Havasu City, AZ (August 24, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash closed multiple lanes of southbound State Route 95 near Lake Havasu on Monday afternoon.
Authorities at the scene say that the crash involved multiple vehicles that collided in the left lanes of SR 95 at milepost 177 around 12:30 p.m. The crash closed the entire highway for at least one hour. Fire rescue units and police were dispatched to the scene of the crash to assist the injured victims and investigate the cause of the wreck, but they have not released the drivers’ information or further details at this time. It appears that EMTs treated at least one victim for injuries at the scene.
Officers from the Lake Havasu City Police Department were also on the scene to collect evidence and clear the crash scene; however, the accident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
