Marana, AZ – Serious Injuries Reported in Truck Accident on I-10
Marana, AZ (January 18, 2020) – Westbound Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Tucson was closed for several hours on Saturday following a deadly crash near milepost 240.
According to officers from the Phoenix Police Department, the crash appeared to involve a semi-truck and another passenger vehicle, though it’s not clear how the accident occurred. Phoenix EMTs were dispatched to treat victims and appeared to pronounce one of the victims dead at the scene of the crash. The number of cars involved, as well as the other victims’ current conditions, has not been released.
Local news video also showed a medical helicopter at the scene. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
