Maricopa, AZ (October 31, 2019) – Early yesterday morning, October 31st, police responded to the scene of a fatal accident at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Beltline Road.

A responding police officer said that the accident involving three vehicles and led to the fatality of one person. Various emergency responders were dispatched to the scene including the Gila River Police and Gila River Emergency Medical Services.

The accident closed down the intersection in the area for several hours. The roadway was not reopened until the afternoon.

Police did not comment on the number of injured victims due to the collision. They continue their investigation of the collision.
