Mesa, AZ (August 4, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon, August 4th, blocked the right lane of traffic on L-101 at Elliot Road.

According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred around 6:22 p.m., after multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of L-101, also known as the Price Freeway. Police and fire rescue units responded to the scene of the injury wreck, which slowed traffic for about an hour. First responders were assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the collision, which appeared to involve at least three vehicles.

The drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time, but the accident was cleared by 7:30 p.m.
