Mesa, AZ – Injuries & Property Damage Reported in Crash at Lindsay Rd & McKellips Rd

Mesa, AZ (March 9, 2020) – Officers from the Mesa Police Department are investigating a car crash that resulted in injuries and property damage to a local apartment on Monday evening.

Mesa officers said that a pickup truck plowed into the side of the building around 8:00 p.m. The wreck occurred at the Reflections Apartments near Lindsay Road and McKellips Road.

Mesa Fire and Medical officials say it all started when a pickup truck swerved to miss another car that had pulled out in front of him. The pickup then ran into a second car, pushing it off the road, before finally crashing into the side of the apartment. Injuries were reported and EMTs were at the scene to treat victims. The bottom-floor unit of the apartment also sustained heavy damage.

Crews remained at the scene for hours, working with building inspectors to ensure the safety of the building. The accident remains under investigation at this time.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims in hopes of a full recovery.
