Mesa, AZ – Injuries Reported in 2-Car Crash on US 60 at Stapley Dr
Mesa, AZ (April 17, 2020) – At least one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 60 Friday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The Phoenix Police Department and Mesa Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene of the crash around 3:15 p.m. The accident occurred on eastbound US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, at the Stapley Drive off-ramp. It appears that at least one victim was transported to an area hospital via ambulance after the multi-car accident, though their current condition remains unclear. It appears that two cars collided in the center lanes of the highway and all vehicles sustained serious damage.
The other victims were treated at the scene by Phoenix emergency medical technicians. Officials have not released further details but are continuing to investigate the accident.
