Mesa, AZ (February 20, 2020) – A two-car accident blocked the center and right lanes of U.S. 60 past Val Vista Road on Thursday night and resulted in at least one serious injury.

According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles collided in the center lanes of U.S. 60 eastbound, also known as the Superstition Freeway, past the Val Vista Road off-ramp around 9:30 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and clear the debris, though they’re still working to determine the cause of the collision.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
