Mesa, AZ (December 4, 2019) – Officers from the Mesa Police Department are investigating an injurious multi-car collision that occurred late Wednesday night.

According to information from Arizona State Troopers, at least two cars collided in the right westbound lanes of US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, near Higley Road. It appears that the accident was caused by some sort of debris in the road, though specific details have not been released at this time. Mesa EMTs were at the scene shortly after the accident occurred to treat victims.

Detectives are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
