Mesa, AZ – Injury Accident Blocks Left Lanes on L-101 Pima at L-202
Mesa, AZ (August 7, 2019) – A multi-vehicle injury wreck on Wednesday afternoon, August 7th, blocked the HOV lane and left lane on Loop 101 before Loop 202.
Officials say that the crash occurred around 3:41 p.m. when at least two vehicles, including one sedan and one SUV, collided in the HOV and left lanes of L-101 southbound, also known as the Pima Freeway, before L-202, or the Red Mountain Freeway. Police and fire rescue units responded to the accident to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the wreck.
All lanes were cleared by 5:15 p.m. However, the drivers’ information and the extent of their injuries have not been released at this time.
