Mesa, AZ (September 17, 2019) – On Monday morning, September 16th, police responded to the scene of a serious motorcycle crash involving two other vehicles at a Mesa intersection.

The accident took place at the intersection of University Drive and Recker Road and involved a motorcycle, minivan, and tow truck. The damage to the motorcycle and the minivan was extensive.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local area hospital with serious injuries while the driver of the minivan sustained minor injuries and was also hospitalized. The driver of the tow truck, however, was not injured.

Deputies are still working to determine the cause of the accident at this time.
