Mesa, AZ (February 17, 2021) – A multi-car crash on US 60 near Bell Road resulted in at least one injury on Wednesday afternoon.

According to officers from the Mesa Police Department, emergency crews and local authorities were called to the scene near Bell Road around 4:30 p.m. Authorities say that a sedan was traveling westbound on US 60 when it collided with another passenger vehicle, causing an accident that may have involved additional vehicles. The area was closed while police worked to clear the scene and investigate the wreck. However, they haven’t released further details on the events leading up to the collision.

EMTs also responded to the scene shortly after the wreck occurred to treat victims, though the severity of the victims’ injuries is unclear.
