Mesa, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Causes Injuries at US 60 & Higley Rd
Mesa, AZ (January 3, 2020) – Officers from the Mesa Police Department are investigating a multi-car collision that occurred late Friday night.
According to information from Arizona State Troopers, at least two cars collided in the westbound lanes of US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, near Higley Road around 9:30 p.m. It appears that the accident was caused by some sort of chain-reaction incident that blocked all lanes, though specific details have not been released at this time. Mesa paramedics were at the scene shortly after the accident occurred to treat injured victims.
Detectives are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
