Mesa, AZ – Officer Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Dobson Rd & Guadalupe Rd
Mesa, AZ (February 2, 2020) – A police officer was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Mesa on Saturday night.
According to authorities from the Mesa Police Department, the officer was responding to a report of multiple cars doing donuts in a parking lot near Dobson Road and Guadalupe Road. After the officer arrived at the scene, he was struck by one of the vehicles in question. The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to treat the officer shortly after the incident occurred. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
