Mesa, AZ (July 7, 2020) – At least one person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on US 60 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The Phoenix Police Department and Mesa Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the scene of the crash around 4:40 p.m. The accident occurred on westbound US 60, also known as the Superstition Freeway, near the Stapley Drive exit. It appears that two cars collided in the center and left lanes of the highway and all vehicles sustained serious damage.

Officials have not released further details but are continuing to investigate the accident.
