Mesa, AZ – Officers Investigating Injury Wreck on I-10 at US 60
Mesa, AZ (August 30, 2020) – A two-car accident blocked the left lanes of Interstate 10 at the transition ramp to US 60 on Sunday morning and resulted in at least one injury.
According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles collided in the left lanes of I-10 westbound at the US 60 transition ramp around 3:50 a.m. First responders arrived at the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and clear the debris, though they’re still working to determine the cause of the wreck.
News footage from the scene showed two sedans that appeared to be involved in the rear-end crash, and both vehicles had sustained front-end and back-end damage. EMTs were also at the scene to treat victims, but they haven’t released details on the victims’ injuries.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
