Mesa, AZ (July 13, 2020) – A two-car accident blocked the right lanes of US 60 and the Gilbert Road exit ramp on Monday evening and resulted in at least one injury.

According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles collided in the right lanes of US 60 eastbound, also known as the Superstition Freeway, at the Gilbert Road ramp around 10:30 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and clear the debris, though they’re still working to determine the cause of the apparent rear-end collision.

The accident remains under investigation.
