Mesa, AZ – Rear-End Crash Causes Injuries on US 60 at Val Vista & Gilbert


Mesa, AZ (May 6, 2020) – A two-car accident blocked the center and right lanes of U.S. 60 past Val Vista Road on Wednesday and resulted in at least one injury.

According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles collided in the right lanes of U.S. 60 eastbound, also known as the Superstition Freeway, past the Val Vista Road and Gilbert Road off-ramp around 4:30 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and clear the debris, though they’re still working to determine the cause of the apparent rear-end collision.

The accident remains under investigation.
