Mesa, AZ – Rear-End Wreck Causes Injuries on US 60 at I-10 Ramp
Mesa, AZ (September 2, 2020) – A two-car accident blocked the center and right lanes of US 60 at the Interstate 10 transition ramp on Wednesday afternoon and resulted in at least one injury.
According to authorities on the scene, the crash occurred when two vehicles collided in the right and center lanes of US 60 westbound, also known as the Superstition Freeway, at the I-10 transition ramp around 2:30 p.m. First responders arrived at the scene of the wreck to assist injured victims and clear the debris, though they’re still working to determine the cause of the wreck.
News footage from the scene showed two sedans that appeared to be involved in the rear-end crash, and both vehicles had sustained front-end and back-end damage. EMTs were at the scene to treat victims, but they haven’t released details on the victims’ injuries.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
