Mesa, AZ – Two-Vehicle Wreck Blocks L-202 Before Dobson Rd

Mesa, AZ (September 4, 2019) – Police responded to a two-vehicle wreck on the Red Mountain Freeway Wednesday.

Authorities at the scene said that a silver Chevrolet pickup truck and a burgundy four-door sedan collided in the right lane of Loop 202. Both vehicles were traveling westbound on the highway, just before Dobson Road. Witnesses say that the two-car accident took place around 4:30 p.m.

Both drivers were able to pull off of the road to provide police with information, though fire rescue units and paramedics responded to assist the injured parties. The multi-vehicle collision also remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Collisions in Arizona

Unfortunately, Arizona roads see hundreds of car crashes daily. In fact, data released by the Arizona Department of Transportation shows that almost 130,000 crashes occurred statewide last year alone. And nearly 111,000 of those wrecks involved multiple vehicles.

Collisions involving more than one driver can mean even more stress for those involved. From dealing with insurance companies and other drivers or passengers at the scene to coping with long-term injuries, multi-vehicle wrecks can have devastating consequences. Thankfully, victims and their families can seek help from a personal injury lawyer, especially after accidents that result from other drivers’ negligent actions.

Your personal injury attorney can help you seek justice and the fair compensation you deserve from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.
