Mesa, AZ (July 9, 2019) – According to Mesa Police, a serious car crash took place that closed down all of the westbound lanes on L-202 for several hours.

The accident, according to police, took place in the area of Alma School Road. The crash originally blocked the right lane and involved multiple vehicles, though police did not comment on the circumstances of the accident.

Various emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident, including paramedics, firefighters, police and more. We do not know the conditions of the injured parties at this time.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
