New River, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Causes Injuries on I-17 Near Rock Springs
New River, AZ (May 15, 2020) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious multi-car wreck that blocked the shoulder of Interstate 17 near Rock Springs and caused injuries.
According to information from the scene, at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of northbound I-17, or the Black Canyon Freeway, around 9:00 p.m. Rescue units from the Yavapai Fire Department were at the scene to treat victims, although no word has been given on the severity of the victims’ injuries.
Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released further information about those involved.
