New River, AZ – Officers Investigating Injury Crash on I-17 Near Anthem
New River, AZ (October 4, 2020) – Officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety say that an injury crash was reported just north of the Valley on Sunday morning.
Per reports from authorities, the collision happened on Interstate 17 in New River, just outside of Anthem. Law enforcement and local EMTs were dispatched to the scene on Interstate 17 northbound near New River around 11:30 a.m., though it’s unclear what led up to the crash. Police haven’t said how many drivers were involved in that crash, but medical authorities were on the scene to treat victims and may have transported at least one person to the hospital.
No further details were released regarding the drivers’ information or their current conditions at this time. The investigation into the accident continues.
