Payson, AZ (March 29, 2020) – A truck crashed and rolled over on State Route 87 in Payson on Sunday evening, causing at least one serious injury.

Officers from the local police department say that the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on SR 87 near Fountain Hills. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the entire highway was closed while authorities investigated and cleared the wreckage.

It is unclear what caused the accident and how many other victims were injured, but the accident remains under investigation at this time
