Peoria, AZ (January 6, 2020) – A 12-year-old was transported to the hospital after a four-vehicle crash in Peoria on Monday morning.

Officers from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a call around 8:00 a.m. at 43rd Avenue and Peoria Road. When police officers and fire rescue units arrived at the scene of the accident, they discovered a 12-year-old girl in critical condition. The child was then transported to a nearby hospital by Phoenix EMTs.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the collision and say that 43rd Avenue from Peoria south to Cinnabar Avenue is currently closed.
