Phoenix, AZ – 2-Car Crash Results in Injuries on AZ-51 at McDowell Rd
Phoenix, AZ (January 14, 2020) – Injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision on State Route 51 northbound near McDowell Road on Tuesday evening.
Officers from the Phoenix Police Department arrived on the scene shortly after the collision to investigate and said that it appeared to be a rear-end collision involving a small hatchback Ford and a Chevrolet Camaro. The wreck occurred in the northbound right lanes of AZ-51, just before McDowell Road, around 8:00 p.m.
Fire rescue units arrived shortly after the crash occurred and Phoenix paramedics treated at least one victim at the scene and transported another victim to a local area hospital.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
