Phoenix, AZ (January 30, 2020) – Four people were seriously injured in an accident on Thursday evening after a vehicle crashed into a bus stop in Phoenix.

According to authorities from the Phoenix Police Department, as well as Phoenix Fire Cpt. Rob McDade, the incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. on Greenway Parkway between Cave Creek Road and 32nd Street.

Two adult males were transported to a local hospital via ambulance in extremely critical condition, per a report from McDade. Another adult male and an adult female suffered serious injuries but were in stable condition, McDade said. They were also sent to a local hospital via ambulance.

McDade said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and that Phoenix police were gathering more information about the incident. The accident is being investigated as a possible wrong-way incident.
