Phoenix, AZ – Auto Accident Causes Delays on I-17 Southbound
Phoenix, AZ (June 23, 2019) – Traffic delays backed up Interstate 17 southbound near Black Canyon City after an auto accident on Sunday, June 23rd.
The accident occurred around 7:00 p.m. at milepost 241, causing a severe traffic jam extending several miles. Traffic began moving normally again around 7:53 p.m.
Officials were on the scene, but information about the cause of the auto accident, as well as the drivers and their conditions, have not been released at this time.
