Phoenix, AZ – Car Crashes into Home After Road Rage Incident at 21st and Sunnyside Ave

Phoenix, AZ (July 20, 2019) – A car accident on Saturday morning, July 20th, resulted in multiple injuries and a damaged home at 21st Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue.

According to Phoenix police, the accident occurred near 21st Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue after two drivers got into a traffic dispute near 19th Avenue and Peoria Avenue. One driver drove away from the dispute and the other driver followed him, crashing into the back of his car.

The impact of that collision pushed the victim’s car into a house. Authorities say the homeowners were not at home when the crash occurred.

The victim and his adult passenger suffered minor injuries, per official reports. Police are still looking for the other driver who caused the collision and say that they are left the scene in a 2011 Silver Ford F-150 truck.

Officials are asking any person with information to contact the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151, or contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish if they wish to remain anonymous.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recoveries.

Injury Accidents in Arizona

With nearly 55,000 injuries and more than 1,000 fatalities from car accidents reported last year, multi-vehicle crashes are on the rise in Arizona. Since 2016, the Arizona Department of Transportation data shows that the summer months bring more vehicles to the highway, increasing the risk of these dangerous accidents.

Injury accidents mean unforeseen, often tragic, consequences for victims and their families, including high medical costs and long-term injuries or even job loss. However, victims and their families can contact a Phoenix accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek their fair compensation from a personal injury or death lawsuit.
