Phoenix, AZ – Critical Injury Reported in Truck Accident at 39th Ave & Clarendon Ave
Phoenix, AZ (November 4, 2019) – A man is in critical condition after a serious crash and fuel truck explosion in west Phoenix late Monday evening.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, crews responded to a vehicle fire near 39th and Clarendon Avenues following an accident. Reports from the scene indicate that a fuel truck exploded after a collision. A 40-year-old man suffered burns to his head and face as a result of the accident and was transported to a local area hospital via ambulance in critical condition.
It is unclear how many other vehicles were involved in the crash. The current conditions of other drivers involved have not been released, though photos appeared to show paramedics treating other victims at the scene.
