Phoenix, AZ (September 20, 2019) – Officials from the Phoenix Police Department are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a serious pedestrian accident on Friday evening.

Per information from authorities, the collision occurred around 8:00 p.m. at 7th Street and Baseline Road. Phoenix Fire Rescue, as well as local paramedics, were on the scene to assist the victim of the accident. EMTs transported the victim to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the wreck but haven’t released a description of the driver or their car, and have not said if the victim was in the crosswalk when the collision occurred.
