Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in 20-Vehicle Crash at SR 51 & I-10
Phoenix, AZ (November 22, 2019) – Up to 20 vehicles were involved in a serious crash early Friday morning on the State Route 51 ramp to Interstate 10 in Phoenix.
According to reports from the Arizona Department of Transportation, a car collided with a concrete barrier on the southbound SR 51 to eastbound I-10 HOV ramp around 4:45 a.m. The crash caused a secondary wreck that formed a pile-up of multiple vehicles. No serious injuries were reported in the crash, though Phoenix EMTs were at the scene to treat victims.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
