Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on L-101 at Thomas Rd
Phoenix, AZ (January 8, 2020) – An injury accident on Wednesday evening blocked all lanes of traffic on Loop 101 at Thomas Road and resulted in at least one serious injury.
Officials responded to the scene of the accident, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of L-101, also known as the Agua Fria Freeway. Police and fire rescue units were at the scene to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the accident, which appeared to involve at least multiple SUVs and work vans.
The drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time, though the accident remains under investigation.
