Phoenix, AZ (June 30, 2020) – Officers from the Phoenix Police Department say that at least one driver was injured after a rear-end car crash on State Route 51 near Thomas Road on Tuesday.

According to officials, at least one victim was treated by EMTs at the scene. Information from the Arizona Department of Public Safety stated that the incident occurred near the Thomas Road exit around 6:30 p.m.

It appears that the accident happened when one passenger vehicle collided with another in the right lanes of southbound State Route 51. The victims’ identities have not been released at this time, and the accident remains under investigation.
