Phoenix, AZ (June 3, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a multi-car crash on Interstate 10 on Wednesday afternoon.

Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, one person was treated at the scene by Phoenix EMTs and another was transported to an area hospital after the multi-car accident, which occurred in the left lanes of the highway. Multiple units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist victims shortly after the wreck occurred at 4:00 p.m.

Authorities say that at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, but the cause of the accident is unclear. Authorities say that the crash investigation is ongoing at this time and mentioned that it appeared to be a rear-end collision. The drivers’ information, as well as the extent of the injuries, remains unknown.
