Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Truck Crash on I-17 Near Munds Park
Phoenix, AZ (December 26, 2019) – A crash involving a semi-truck caused a closure on northbound Interstate 17 near Munds Park and resulted in at least one serious injury, according to state transportation officials.
According to officers from the Phoenix Police Department, both northbound lanes were blocked near milepost 321 on I-17, and traffic was getting by on the shoulder. Arizona Department of Transportation officials said that local EMTs were on the scene to treat victims and appeared to transport one victim to the hospital, though they said that their injuries were non-life-threatening.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
