Phoenix, AZ – Injurious Crash Reported on I-17 NB at Peoria Ave
Phoenix, AZ (May 22, 2020) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the HOV and left lanes near the Peoria Avenue off-ramp from Interstate 17 northbound on Friday evening, resulting in at least one injury.
Per official information from the scene, the multi-vehicle crash happened when at least two cars collided in the left lanes of I-17 northbound, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, at the Peoria Avenue off-ramp around 9:40 p.m. Fire rescue and police officials were at the scene to assist victims but have not determined the cause of the crash or released the drivers’ information.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
