Phoenix, AZ – Injurious Wreck Reported on I-17 Near Indian School Rd
Phoenix, AZ (June 22, 2020) – A multi-vehicle accident blocked multiple lanes of Interstate 17 near Indian School Road on Monday afternoon and resulted in at least one injury.
Officials say that the crash occurred when multiple passenger vehicles collided in the left lanes of I-17 northbound, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, at Indian School Road around 3:45 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to the injury accident to assist victims and determine the cause of the wreck, though they have not released the drivers’ information.
It appears three vehicles were involved in the apparent rear-end collision, though the accident remains under investigation at this time.
