Phoenix, AZ – Injury Accident Blocks HOV Lane on L-202 Past Center Road


Phoenix, AZ (July 19, 2019) – An injury accident on Friday afternoon, July 19th, blocked the HOV lane of Loop 202 eastbound past Center Road.

Authorities say that the injury accident occurred when multiple vehicles traveling eastbound on L-202, also known as the Red Mountain Freeway, collided around 4:30 p.m. Fire rescue and police units were on the scene to assist the victims of the crash and investigate. At least two vehicles appeared to be involved in the collision.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash at this time and have not released the victims’ information.
