Phoenix, AZ – Injury Wreck Blocks Lane on L-101 After Thomas Rd
Phoenix, AZ (August 7, 2019) – An injury accident on Wednesday afternoon, August 7th, blocked the right lane of traffic on Loop 101 at Thomas Road.
Officials responded to the scene of the accident, which occurred around 6:35 p.m. when multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of L-101, also known as the Agua Fria Freeway. Police and fire rescue units were at the scene to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the accident, which appeared to involve at least two SUVs or work vans.
All lanes reopened just after 7:00 p.m., but the drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released at this time.
