Phoenix, AZ – Injury Wreck on I-17 NB at Grand Ave
Phoenix, AZ (August 28, 2019) – An injury accident blocked the right lane of Interstate 17 near Grand Avenue on Wednesday evening.
Authorities said the wreck occurred when at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of I-17 northbound, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, near Grand Avenue around 6:30 p.m.
Police and fire rescue units were called to the scene and assisted injured victims. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash but have not released additional information at this time.
