Phoenix, AZ – Jawon McKaskill Killed in Fatal Car Crash at Broadway Rd
Phoenix, AZ (June 9, 2020) – A 23-year-old man died after a two-car accident in Phoenix on Monday morning.
Per reports from officers with the Phoenix Police Department, authorities were called to the area of 43rd Street and Broadway Road around 7:35 a.m. for the crash. Once they arrived, officers learned that 23-year-old Jawon McKaskill had been traveling westbound on Broadway Road when he crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck.
McKaskill was transported to an area hospital via ambulance but was later pronounced dead. The truck driver involved in the crash sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, and no further information has been released.
